From Our Participants

NW

Noppawan Wichaikul

HR Manager · Bangkok

"I attended the Financial Habits Workshop after years of knowing what I should do but never quite managing it. The habit loop framework finally helped me understand why — and that made the difference. Three months later, my savings rate has improved meaningfully. The accountability structure built into the sessions really works."

Paisal Kittirat

Software Engineer · Bangkok

"The Bond and Fixed Deposit Comparison program was exactly what I needed. I had been comparing products online for months without making progress. Two sessions at Loomstead gave me a clear framework to evaluate options against my actual goals — not just chase the highest number on a comparison website. Very practical."

Siriporn Thongchai

Nurse · Bangkok

"My husband and I attended the Life Events Readiness program before our wedding. Having an actual plan — with numbers and timelines — changed the whole conversation. We stopped guessing and started preparing. Wilaiporn was patient and thorough, and never made us feel that our questions were too basic."

Arthit Teerasak

Small Business Owner · Bangkok

"I've tried online courses and they never stuck. The difference here is the group setting and the ability to ask questions in real time. When I asked about how bond duration affects my specific situation, Somchai walked through it patiently until I genuinely understood. That kind of attention doesn't happen in a recorded video."

Malisa Phuttamat

Secondary School Teacher · Bangkok

"The habits workshop helped me see my spending patterns from a completely different angle. I had framed it as a willpower problem — the program reframed it as a systems problem. That distinction was surprisingly freeing. The toolkit is still on my desk two months later."

Rangsarit Siriwan

Architect · Bangkok

"I was preparing to purchase my first property and felt overwhelmed by the financial side of it. The Life Events program helped me understand what I actually needed to have in place — savings, contingency buffer, and a realistic timeline. The readiness checklist is something I reference regularly. Well worth it."

IN DEPTH

Participant Stories

A closer look at how some participants moved from a financial question to a clearer answer through Loomstead programs.

STARTING POINT

Noppawan — Habits Workshop

Earned a consistent income but found that month-end savings were unpredictable. Had tried budgeting apps but stopped using them within weeks.

WHAT CHANGED

Worked through her spending habit loops and identified a single keystone behaviour — setting aside a fixed amount on payday rather than at month-end. Used the accountability structure to maintain consistency for 90 days.

OUTCOME

Monthly savings rate rose from inconsistent single digits to a steady 14% over the following quarter. More importantly, the behaviour became habitual — no longer requiring active effort to maintain.

STARTING POINT

Rangsarit — Life Events Program

Planning to purchase a condominium in Bangkok within 18 months but had no clear picture of total costs or how much he needed to have in place before approaching a lender.

WHAT CHANGED

Built a complete cost map for his purchase — covering down payment, transfer fees, renovation buffer, and emergency reserve. Set milestones at 6, 12, and 18 months to track accumulation against targets.

OUTCOME

Reached his 6-month savings milestone ahead of schedule. More significantly, identified that he had been underestimating total costs by approximately 18% — giving him time to adjust before making commitments to a lender.

STARTING POINT

Paisal — Bond & FD Program

Had accumulated savings in a single bank account earning a low rate. Aware of bonds and fixed deposits as alternatives but unable to evaluate them meaningfully against each other.

WHAT CHANGED

Worked through the suitability matrix using his actual liquidity needs, time horizon, and income objectives. Built a comparison of available options that was specific to his financial position rather than a generic ranking.

OUTCOME

Moved a portion of savings into fixed deposits matched to his medium-term timeline and allocated a smaller portion toward government bonds. Understood clearly why these choices fit his situation rather than following a general recommendation.
